Rockabilly Deluxe goes beyond rockabilly music because we know that our readers want more than merely an ear tickle. We’re set on finding the newest, the hottest, the sexiest and the most radical in the rockabilly scene. From music to fashion to art to hot rods to burlesque, we cover it all—all over the world—in our own unique and passionate way.

Rockabilly Deluxe is an editorial magazine aimed at 200,000 subscriber households with a resident in the 14-24 age bracket. Written by rockabilly devotees, this print and digital magazine provides relevant coverage to readers interested in learning everything there is to know about the current rockabilly scene. These teenagers and young adults are both the followers and the trendsetters of today, and we believe Rockabilly Deluxe will be their key source for up-to-date rockabilly coverage around the globe.

Initial distribution will focus on the top domestic rockabilly music and burlesque markets, in addition to a strong effort in major bookstores and venues where Rockabilly Deluxe believes it will have access to readers.

WRITERS’ GUIDELINES

If you wish to submit interviews, articles or rockabilly-themed true stories, please do not send us the finished work, rather e-mail us with a short, 3-sentence pitch of your idea. Type “query” into the subject box.

Include a website link to your list of published clips and their URLs

E-mail digital copies of tear sheets (published pages of your work)

If you have no published work, send us the first paragraph (no more than 50 words) of your finished work.
If you are interviewing or representing a band, give us a short description of the band and its music. Include a link to the band’s website and music samples, and link us to reviews of relevant shows/albums (if any).

TIP: We are particularly fond of interviews and articles on rockabilly music and bands, and we welcome submissions by band members. We’d rather not see a typical interview (Why rockabilly? Who were your biggest inspirations? What’s your favorite color?); we’d rather create an open forum for band members to talk about their passions, funny stories while being out on the road, small historical stories that no one has ever heard until now, etc.
